West Arch Opening

Quite a crowd at the opening of West Arch in Aachen (September 11th). Curated by Modular Beat, twenty-five young offices from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, show their work. Our contribution is right at the entrance. It's worth a visit!

Collective Intelligence Design Workshop @ TUWien

For the Advances in Architectural Geometry Conference (AAG 2010) in Vienna, Marthijn Pool will host a two day workshop. The goal is to establish the awareness that collaborative design is a discipline in itself and that it requires the correct mindset to operate efficiently. In the workshop Marthijn's vision on the design team operating as a distributed network of agents, will be experimentally implemented. The collective intelligence within the expert group results in a design that exceeds the sum of its parts since each individual is complementary to it's team member.
