Faxx workshop

space&matter organized a workshop with the current tenants of the Faxx building. Our aim was to get an overview about the existing community and the building itself from the user´s point of view. Furthermore we started a discussion about local matters. The workshop was a big success and helps us to develop concepts for the building.

Redeveloping Faxx

For Red Concepts we are developing a new concept for the Faxx-building in Tilburg. The former bank building that is part of the Veemarktkwartier area, will be transformed into an inspiring workspace for creative companies. Our approach; bottom-up co-creation with end users. We'll keep you posted.

Jury assessment on Europan entry

Jury Assessment of our Europan entry 'De Voor(t)zet'
"Connecting the housing to the car park creates a successful integration of the inner courtyard with the architecture. The proposals for renovation are promising, but will also be accompanied by considerable costs. Because of this, no matter how appealing, the plan overshoots the mark."

With our plan we deliberately aimed for a cost effective solution. Therefore we are convinced the plan could have been carried out within strict budgetary constraints. If only we got the chance to proof it... : (

Kick off Postjeskade

The work on the Postjeskade will start next Monday 01/11/10. We will soon give some photo-updates on the progress.

space&matter will talk about the benefits of social media for real estate development @ the 14th ULI Europe Annual Conference in Paris
